I just sat here twirling my foot around like mad and it’s true! It’s not possible to make your foot and finger go in different directions, try it!

1 February 2008 12:23 pm Personal, RambleWas just poking around underneath my bed, looking for an old magazine and I found a load of work I did when I was at art school. At the time I thought it was all rubbish, but now I’m looking though it all again I’ve realised that it’s actually not that bad. Now I really wish I had paid more attention in classes back then, instead of chasing after girls all the time.
I’ll post some of the work up when I can, none of it is digital so it might take a while.
iBoom / The Cool
1 February 2008 12:14 pm JunkLasonic have made a new boombox but instead of having a cassette player it’s got an internal iPod dock. It looks like it came came straight out of the 80’s and I really want one! It even has a little GEQ with flashing lights. It’d be so bloody cool to have this to bang tunes out on in the park when it’s summer and obviously you’d have to be playing old school tunes like LL, Run DMC, Beastie Boys etc. It’s compatible with all iPods, SD cards and usb flash drives. I think i read something about one with a DVD player in it as well awhile back.

While we’re on the subject of music… I’ve been listening to Lupe Fiaso’s new album ‘The Cool’ a lot recently, it’s not bad. Favourite track is probably ‘Hip Hop Saved My Life’. I’m feelin his flow, never really bothered to listen to him before this, no idea how to describe it though.. I’m no music critic, but if you like stuff like The Roots, J5, De La Soul, Talib and all that lot, then you’ll probably enjoy this album.

Retrospective
1 February 2008 3:35 am Personal, RambleTime is really flying by, before I know it I’ll be 24, it doesn’t even sound like that big a number any more, but a few years ago I thought 24 was ancient!
2007 wasn’t much to talk about for me, I settled back down to life in London, switched jobs a few times, went out with a few girls and then the next thing I know, it’s all over. I’m really hoping this year will be different. I’ve been thinking about going back to Shanghai a lot recently, not for a holiday but to live and work. Things were really happening for me over there, it wasn’t the best idea to leave, it was actually pretty stupid.
There really isn’t much going for me here in London, I’ll be damned if I’m gonna work 9-5 fixing computers forever. I see so many more opportunities over there and a lot of them are in creative industry which is something I’ve really wanted to get into for a long time now.
Think I’m gonna go back for awhile come Spring time to see what I can do over there.
I’m back!
23 January 2008 3:01 pm RambleI’ve been blogging for a long time now, not sure from when exactly (I’ll figure it out and edit later) but it was early this decade. This must be something like my tenth blog since I started way back then and for all this time, I’ve never ever been able to keep one that I’d constantly update. I think it was because I used to write about my personal life a lot and eventually people I knew in real life would always seem to find my blog somehow. Funny how I don’t mind complete strangers out there on the internet reading about my life, but when it comes to my friends and people I know, I’m no longer that comfortable.
Basically where I’m going with this is, I’m going to do my very best to keep this place constantly updated. Don’t expect too much of my personal antics to turn up here, I’ll be posting a lot about cool stuff I find surfing around the web, photo’s I’ve taken, my opinion on this n that and very occasionally the odd proper blog post.
