Over the past few years my tshirts had been getting bigger and my jeans baggier. I don’t really know when I started getting into street wear, I just know that now that I am, I’m hooked. I don’t buy as much of it as I’d like to though, hopefully that’ll change this year.

Anyway, here’s some fresh gear I came across during my travels across the web.

Harris Tweed collection by Swagger in collaboration with New Era and Porter. I’m really diggin that back pack.

Nike Dunk be true to your school collection. This colourway is sick, I love orange and I can’t wait to get my smelly feet into a pair of these.

There’s also a pair of grey/navy terminators in the set that look pretty good. Don’t really like that they’re worn though, not keen on buying new old kicks.. kicks should be fresh and crisp, they’re not jeans they shouldn’t be faded.

Lasonic have made a new boombox but instead of having a cassette player it’s got an internal iPod dock. It looks like it came came straight out of the 80’s and I really want one! It even has a little GEQ with flashing lights. It’d be so bloody cool to have this to bang tunes out on in the park when it’s summer and obviously you’d have to be playing old school tunes like LL, Run DMC, Beastie Boys etc. It’s compatible with all iPods, SD cards and usb flash drives. I think i read something about one with a DVD player in it as well awhile back.

While we’re on the subject of music… I’ve been listening to Lupe Fiaso’s new album ‘The Cool’ a lot recently, it’s not bad. Favourite track is probably ‘Hip Hop Saved My Life’.

I’m feelin his flow, never really bothered to listen to him before this, no idea how to describe it though.. I’m no music critic, but if you like stuff like The Roots, J5, De La Soul, Talib and all that lot, then you should enjoy this album.

Forgot all about this place, pretty much abandoned it actually and I know why… I was put on the spot at a job interview a while back to show some web design work, I hadn’t prepared anything and all my previous projects were off line or had been edited to shit by the clients. So I was forced to pull a few sites out of my arse and one of them happened to be this one. I got the job in the end, so I was hardly gonna carry on updating this place when my boss knew about my personal blog. But now it’s all cool cos I work elsewhere now and don’t care any more!

I was actually thinking about completely deleting this blog and starting afresh, it’s not like there’s much content here anyway and I really can’t remember what I did to the back end of this place to make it how it is now, so it’ll be a bitch to put a new layout in, which I really want to do. I guess it looks ok.. just gonna have to change the colour scheme a bit and the header graphic. No forget that, I really want to make a new layout.

Anyway, enough of that! I’m back and should be updating frequently since I have a lot more spare time these days.

Recently my iBook has been giving me a lot of trouble. It started to randomly stop charging, the connections were loose inside the plug head of the power adaptor, bad design. So I called Apple told them my problem and they sent out a new one, but they sent me the bit that goes into the power adaptor, not the adaptor itself which i needed. After a bit of complaining they eventually sent me a new adaptor and all was well.
